In light of the current pandemic, we had to schedule our next PCS conference in Milan for July 2022. However, we feel that it is important for all of us to keep in touch and to have a chance to exchange newest ideas and findings. Therefore, we invite you all to join an online PCS mini symposium on the 6th of July. The mini symposium will provide an opportunity to stay connected with the latest science as well as offer a forum to socialize in break-out rooms.
The seminars will be conducted via Zoom and will be free to register and attend for everyone.
In order to facilitate personal chats and small scientifically specialized discussion groups we have planned a mixture of general lectures and breakout sessions.
The symposium will start at 2.00 pm on July 6th– Central European summer time (UTC+2).
2.00 – 3.30 pm: 3 general lectures including discussions (25 min + 5 min)
3.30 – 5.00 pm: parallel running breakout sessions (three rounds of 30 min sessions to allow participants to visit multiple sessions)
5.00 – 6.00 pm: 2 general lectures including discussions (25 min + 5 min)
past 6.00 pm: further personal chats in breakout sessions possible – open end

Moreover, you are all invited to announce your own personal break out session. There are no restrictions in terms of contents and subjects. (Just to give you some possible examples for potential sessions: “Alex’s zoom chat coffee corner”, “Frontiers of Calcium imaging”, “Discussion round: Should we install a regular monthly international PCS Zoom lecture series?”) You may create your own Zoom links for your sessions, and we will announce them on a dashboard that will be regularly updated.
